The deal, in plain words

Last updated 13 October 2026.

Podivm measures a recording of you speaking and reports what it found. Using it means agreeing to the following, which is short because the product is small.

What Podivm is

A practice tool. It measures pace, pauses, filler words, pitch, volume, posture, head orientation, fidgeting and gesture, and it scores a take with a model trained on hand-rated talks.

What it is not

It is not a judgment about you, and it is not a guarantee of anything. The score is a model’s reading of one recording, precise to about a point out of ten on its own held-out data, and a difference smaller than that is noise. A webcam cannot see eye contact, and Podivm says “facing the camera” rather than claiming otherwise. Nothing here is medical, therapeutic, legal or career advice, and a good score is not proof that a talk will land. Use your own judgement: you know the room and the occasion, and the measurement does not.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; it is your account and what happens under it is yours. One person per account, no sharing. You must be old enough to hold an account where you live. You can delete your progress at any time from your profile, and you can ask us to delete the account.

What you record

Only record yourself, or people who have agreed to be recorded. Do not use Podivm for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or to record a private conversation you were not part of. Your recordings stay on your device; what is stored is the numbers, as described on the privacy page.

Fair use of the service

Do not attack the service, scrape it, resell it, or try to get it to produce measurements it did not make. Do not use automated tools to create accounts. If you find a way to break it, tell us rather than use it.

Availability and changes

Podivm is provided as it is, without warranty, and may change or stop. Features that are marked as not switched on — uploading a full talk to the offline engine, for instance — may arrive later or not at all. If we change these terms in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the app says so.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Podivm, including a talk, interview or performance that did not go the way you wanted. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited.
